Everest Sensor moves its way into hallways, bathrooms
and kitchens throughout homes nation wide, during this
fall and winter season.
The versatile Everest Sensor Light is different from other
motion lights, and it does not require special installation.
It is portable, lightweight and stands approximately six
inches tall, making it an unobtrusive but sophisticated
addition to any table or shelf. It even includes a wall
mount bracket for mounting anywhere throughout the house.
While in the auto-on function this light will turn on
for two minutes any time it senses movement from up to
15 feet away. A special photo sensor assures it only turns
on in dark places. “The Sensor Light’s
curvy design allows it to fit in the palm of your hand,”
said Peter Altman, Lumatec Industries’ founder and
chief executive officer. “The portability of this
product makes it versatile for the entire home.”
With LED technology, Sensor Light runs for 150-plus hours
on a set of four AAA batteries. The battery life of this
product allows the light to double as an emergency safety
lamp for power outages, cabin and camping trips, or under
a sink.
The LED lighting system is more energy efficient than
standard light bulbs, and it produces a softer, brighter
light. These bulbs are shock resistant and, unlike traditional
bulbs, will not break. The LED bulb does not generate
heat, making it safe and enabling it to never need replacement.
“Everest Sensor is easy on the eyes and truly
facilitates an environment where the user can get up in
the middle of the night, find their way to check on their
kids and get back to sleep fast,” said Altman. “It’s
so convenient and cool, most people will find a need for
several in their house.”
Coupled with the highly efficient bulb this lamp has an
extendable neck that allows light to be focused on a specific
area. Everest Sensor Light is available fall 2005 at retailers
nationwide and at www.lumatec.com.
Its suggested retail price is $29.95.
